Thank You, Lighthouse Self Storage - West Palm Beach!

Thank you to our newest community partner, Lighthouse Self Storage in West Palm Beach, for standing in the gap for our hungry neighbors. Because of their community food drive and generous monetary donation, we can provide food to someone like Cathy, a home health aide. In April, Cathy's patient died after contracting COVID in a nursing home. She had been transferred there after a medical procedure in the hospital. She was 99 years old. Since then, Cathy has survived on unemployment checks and her savings. She never thought she would need food from a food pantry. However, she is grateful that she can receive food twice a month from a CROS Food Pantry, as she waits for her next placement. #CommunityCollaborations #ServingtheHungryTodayTomorrowAllYearRound
