Programs Increasing Access to Nutritious Food

  • 121,561 (duplicated) individuals, 27% of whom were children and 12% of whom were seniors received food from seven food pantries serving in multiple locations.
  • 38,336 meals served through the Caring Kitchen.
  • 16,760 weekend bagged lunches distributed at Cason UMC.
  • 460,245 pounds of fresh produce recovered by CROS Gleaning from local farms which was distributed to local food programs by our distribution partners (2024‐2025 gleaning season). This is the equivalent of 383,537 meals (Based on Feeding America’s equation of 1.2 lbs. of food = 1 meal).
